ABOUT US

Metro1 embarked on its delicious journey in December 2018 by two brothers-in-laws Bob Gill and Prabh Bal with a purpose: to delight taste buds with delectable, fresh, and love-infused food with serene ambience.

From having no prior expertise in the restaurant and catering industry we, along with merely one chef, have expanded to become a close-knit family of approximately hundred incredibly talented staff members including several dozen chefs. Our pride lies in presenting the best of  authentic Indian Veg and Non-Veg flavors including the street food like aloo tikki, chaat papri, paneer tikka, samosas, golgappas along with various dishes of fish, chicken, prawn, lamb and many more dishes crafted by our esteemed Indian culinary maestros.

Our friend Gina Sekhon arranged catering for our Diwali dinner on Saturday and the food lived up to our last experience where they catered my niece’s reception last year with a mixed Indian and western menu. The food has been AMAZING and all our guests are still raving about it! Everything was perfect and fresh and I will be ordering on repeat and recommending them to everyone! One of my friends is already contacting them for her daughter’s birthday party. Excellent experience with the owner Bob and his entire Metro 1 team. Bob helped me come up with a great menu for my 50th birthday party and was overseeing everything during the event. Their team was prompt and professional, the food was delicious and impressed all our guests. This is the second time in last 3 months my family has hired Metro 1 for catering, and they have once again gone over and above the expectation.

We had Bob at Metro 1 do a backyard event with live catering. He was able to relieve all the stress that comes with hosting an event by providing us with not only the amazing food, but also the cooks, servers, and crockery. He went above and beyond to ensure our guest were taken care of. We have been hearing nothing but compliments from our guest everyday since the event.
